Stan Lee (1922–2018) was an American comic book writer, editor, publisher, and producer who spent most of his career at Marvel Comics. He co-created iconic superheroes including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, the X-Men, and the Avengers. He became a cultural icon and remained creatively active well into his 90s.
