About Louise Hay
Louise Hay (1926–2017) was an American motivational author and founder of Hay House publishing. She overcame a difficult childhood marked by abuse and poverty, and later healed herself of cancer through affirmations and self-love practices. She became one of the most influential figures in the self-help movement of the 20th century.
Louise believed that the thoughts we think and the words we speak create our experiences, and that loving yourself unconditionally is the key to healing every area of life. She taught that every illness, challenge, and limitation is rooted in limiting beliefs that can be transformed through affirmations and self-compassion.
